But what makes it even more magical are the giggling troves of Brainy Bunch, each armed with their favorite tool – be it a microscope, a paintbrush, or a robot they've built from scratch! Our very own Brainy Bunch are not ordinary kids. They are super kids! They can unravel the mysteries of the universe, decode the language of computers, build towering structures, create enchanting melodies and paint their dreams into reality – all before they sit down for lunch! Our fearless friend, Bucky the Beaver, is their guide. Bucky, with his magnetic personality, and an infectious laugh that sounds like water splashing against the river rocks, wears a shiny lab coat adorned with all sorts of peculiar gadgets, all as colorful as his personality! In the heart of New Jersey, the Brainy Bunch, led by Bucky, turn ordinary days into extraordinary explorations. They dive into the ocean’s depths to converse with curious creatures, climb mountains to chat with chirpy birds, delve into dark caves to investigate hidden treasures, and even travel to the mysterious realms of outer space! Camp Med-o-lark is an all genders arts sleep away camp in Washington, Maine for children ages 7–16, set on the shores of a pristine lake. Med-o-lark offers a fully elective program, allowing campers to design their own schedules from a wide range of activities including performing arts, fine arts, sports, circus, waterfront, and more. Each summer, Med-o-larkers come together to build a kind, creative community where everyone has the opportunity to discover, grow, create, learn, and shine. With a strong emphasis on the arts, Med-o-lark offers one of the most extensive programs in dance, fine arts, handcrafts, and theater of any camp in New England.
Antinanco is committed to preserving traditional and indigenous knowledge, and providing access to education through wellness, mindfulness and nature experiences, as well as hands-on projects and environmental conservation projects. We involve children, families and youth groups in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania in environmental stewardship, educating about the impact of our actions on the environment, and providing resources and solutions to maintain the integrity of the Northeastern ecosystems. In doing so, we lean extensively on indigenous traditions. We also work together with the Hopi, Navajo and Oceti Sakowin Oyate (Lakota, Dakota and Nakota) Indian reservations to provide COVID-19 relief, health and wellness, food sovereignty, clean water and solar energy solutions. We support learning of practical earth-based skills, wellness, mindfulness and peaceful dialogue.
