Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. In addition to robotics, our educational offerings span across various STEM sectors such as coding, eSports, engineering, science and more. We're delighted to be connected with several of the most prominent STEM competition organizations. Our primary learning center is nestled in the heart of Naperville, IL. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach. In 2002, John Miron, a physics teacher at Atascadero High, and a group of enthusiastic students formed the Greybots. At their first competition, the Silicon Valley Regional, Team 973 was honored with the Rookie All Star Award in recognition of their efforts to promote science and technology in the local community. Fast-forward to 2006, and the Greybots made their first visit to the World Championships. In 2007, Larry Price, an experienced Senior Engineer at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, took on the role of lead mentor. With his direction and the team's determination, the Greybots have achieved remarkable success. Thanks to the hard work of John Miron, his students, and Larry Price, the Greybots have become a beacon of innovation in the area. From their Rookie All Star Award to the World Championships, the Greybots have made a lasting impression.
