About El Dorado Hills Community Services District

Welcome to the El Dorado Hills Community Services District! Established in 1962, this special district was formed under County Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 98-62 and Government Code §61600. It provides services to a large, densely populated suburban area located east of the Sacramento County Line and mostly north of Highway 50. Major access roads and inhabited corridors include Highway 50, El Dorado Hills Boulevard, Silva Valley Parkway, Green Valley Road, Francisco Drive, Salmon Falls Road, Bass Lake Road and Latrobe Road. At almost 28 square miles (18,079 square acres), the EDHCSD is the largest and most populated community in the county. It provides a range of essential services to the El Dorado Hills area, from public safety to trash collection and more. With its convenient location and comprehensive offerings, the EDHCSD is a great place to call home. The EDHCSD works hard to ensure its members receive the best services possible. It provides a variety of resources, from educational programs and recreational activities to public safety and environmental protection. Adventure Zone Summer Camp
Adventure Zone is operated by the El Dorado Hills CSD Recreation Department and provides a safe, caring, and enriching environment for your child. We strive to create a fun and inclusive program through integrated games, STEM projects, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. We also offer time to do homework with academic support. Through the program children develop social skills, a desire to learn, and decision making skills.

SWIM LESSONS
The Aquatics Team is certified to teach Swim Lessons University, a lesson program based on the technical progression of the swimmer, while educating them on proper water safety practices. All swimmers will be issued a brightly colored bracelet that not only serves as recognition of each childs’ progress, but communicates the skill level of each swimmer to lifeguards, instructors and parents. Please note: swimmers in Starfish, Turtles, and Penguins are provided a buoyancy swim trainer to assist each child in progressing through each skill. Buoyancy pads within trainer are removed as the swimmer progresses through each skill until no swim trainer assistance is needed.

The El Dorado Hills Community Services District offers sports programming year-round, depending on the season. Some examples of offerings include: Girls and Boys, Volleyball, NFL Youth Flag Football, Youth Basketball, SA Shotokan Karate, Pickleball, Adult Sports Leagues (Bocce, 5x5 Basketball, Softball), Skyhawks Sports Clinics and Camps and UK Soccer Camps
