About Kalabash School of Music + the Arts

At Kalabash, we honor the global history and influence of the calabash fruit. For centuries, this humble fruit has been used to make musical instruments in numerous cultures. We believe it is a powerful reminder that music and art can be created anywhere, from any material, and at any time! Our mission is to provide individuals of any age, background, and level of experience the opportunity to explore and uncover their own creative talents. Our instructors are dedicated to connecting our students with the tools and instruction they need to make their artistic dreams come true. Kalabash is more than just a place for learning how to make music and art – it is a vibrant community of artists, dreamers, and music-makers. Our goal is to create a supportive space where everyone can come together to share their passion and explore the creative potential of the calabash fruit.
