Their giggles echo across the state, from the sunbathing seals in San Diego to the chatty seagulls in San Francisco. California might be known for its cool surfers, glamorous movie stars, and tech-savvy wizards. Still, nothing beats the excitement of watching Sir Broccoli Bruce and his fencing chums charging about, their swords gleaming in the Californian sun. The Murrieta Youth Center (MYC) has been a dream of the community since the early 2000s. Thanks to generous donations, Phase One has been completed late 2013, bringing a 6,000-square-foot facility to the youth of Murrieta. This facility includes a lounge/game room, a computer lab, a conference room, outdoor space, staff offices, and a multipurpose room. Phase Two of the Murrieta Youth Center (MYC) is currently in the works. When completed, this project will bring an indoor gymnasium with a workout room, a locker room, and gymnasium storage. This facility will provide the opportunity for children to engage in physical activities, encouraging a healthy lifestyle. The Murrieta Youth Center (MYC) is a testament to the community's commitment to investing in the youth of Murrieta.
