Their joy was so infectious that even the grumpy old sea lions from the nearby San Francisco Bay would often come out to watch them play! The kids loved Coach Ketchup, despite his peculiar eating habits. He was like a giant tomato, always smiling, always encouraging, and always ready to play along. He would often join their games, tripping over his shoe laces, and getting all tangled up in the flags. Watching Coach Ketchup play was like watching a clumsy bear trying to dance; it was hilarious! These kids were not just flag football players, they were a team, a family. They embodied the true spirit of California; vibrant, fearless, always ready for an adventure, and always ready to help each other.
