In the golden sun-kissed state of California, where the Pacific waves lapped onto the sandy beaches and palm trees swayed rhythmically to the ocean's tune, a unique tribe of young kids was on the rise. These were the Jiu Jitsu kids, or as they liked to call themselves, the "Rolling Rascals." Now, these weren't your typical kids. Oh no, they were mini Jiu Jitsu Maestros, equipped with colorful gi and belts that represented their ranks. They had this strange language that only they understood, with words like 'armbar', 'guard', and 'kimura'. Their playground wasn't a park or a beach, but a tatami mat, where they rolled and tumbled like little tumbleweeds in a desert. Leading this pack of Rolling Rascals was a cool, imaginary character known as Jolly Jitsu. He had blue hair, could do a cartwheel with one hand, and had a black belt that glowed in the dark. Jolly Jitsu was a funny guy indeed! He'd make hilarious faces while showing a move, and sometimes he'd burp so loud during a class, the Rascals would fall over laughing. But when it came to Jiu Jitsu, Jolly Jitsu was all business. Jolly Jitsu and his Rolling Rascals roamed from San Diego to San Francisco, teaching and learning, laughing and rolling. Together, they were turning California into the Jiu Jitsu capital of the world. And if you listen closely, you can hear their laughter and shouts echoing across the Golden Gate Bridge, carried away by the Pacific breeze.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
In 2011, Aftermath BJJ & MMA was established in the City of Wildomar and rapidly became the city's first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. With the goal of providing Jiu-Jitsu to those who could not afford the high cost, the Academy quickly grew in popularity and by 2014, the name was changed to 99 Jiu-Jitsu. In 2021, the Academy was renamed to 7th Son Jiu Jitsu. We are proud to be affiliated with Joa “Johnny” Faria, a 4rd degree black belt and Alliance head quartered in San Diego, CA. Johnny has had the honor of training and learning from Masters and athletes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu history. At 7th Son Jiu Jitsu, we strive to create a respectful and family-oriented environment.
