About North Fork Leadership Center

More than a century ago, our extraordinary journey began when Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low founded the first Girl Scout troop in Savannah, Georgia, on March 12, 1912. We honor Daisy’s visionary legacy by helping girls develop courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. As the preeminent leadership development organization for girls, Girl Scouts offers programs from coast to coast and around the world. Every girl has the opportunity to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success. Since 1912, we’ve been providing girls with the tools to develop their own unique strengths and skills so they can make a difference in their own lives and the world around them. We’re proud of the impact Daisy’s original vision is still making today.

Troop Camping
Are you ready for an outdoor adventure? Camping is key (and fun!) component of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and troop camping provides an easy way for girls and volunteers to experience the great outdoors. Troop camp provides a great bonding opportunity as girls build campfires, go boating, practice archery, experience hiking, do arts and crafts — and so much more!

Summer Camp
This summer, prepare for an adventure — one that's totally girl-led! Every session is unique, but she'll always experience Girl Scout camp traditions like archery, boating, making SWAPS, learning songs, joining in talent shows and more. Registration includes a Summer Camp 2022 T-shirt and a summer camp patch. Not a Girl Scout yet? That's OK — all girls are welcome at summer camp! This is a great way to experience Girl Scouting and make new friends; when you want to continue, GSGC staff will help find a troop!
