These centers are an important component of the Children's Board's mission to ensure all children and families in Hillsborough County reach their fullest potential. Lutheran Services Florida is proud to be the managing partner of the Children's Board Family Resource Centers. These Centers are a testament to the Children's Board's commitment to supporting families in our community. They provide a variety of services to help meet the needs of families, including access to educational and support resources. The Centers are also committed to connecting families to community resources that will enable them to live healthier, happier lives.

Center-Driven Programming

The CBFRC Teams develop, plan and facilitate an array of fun, engaging and educational programs for children and families.

Learn & Play

The Glazer Children’s Museum believes in engaging parents, caregivers and children in playful learning opportunities. Learn & Play offers quality early learning experiences, which lead to long-term success in school and life. Families can enjoy explorative play, music and dance, arts and crafts and so much more. Learn & Play Tampa Bay bilingual playgroups are offered at no cost to you at sites throughout Hillsborough County. Funding for this program is generously provided by Children’s Board of Hillsborough County.

Redefiners World Languages

Want to learn a new language? ReDefiners World Languages offers language classes across the County at our CBFRCs. Intergenerational courses are for children and their caregivers to have fun and learn together, with an "exposure" model. This generates interest and has a cultural exploration!
