Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, our Founder, designed this unique structure as part of the International Temples Project and it was opened in 2011. A representation of the celestial palace of Heruka, the Buddha of Compassion, the temple is also a symbol of the stages of the spiritual path to enlightenment.
