Established in 1986 to honor the crew of the STS-51L Challenger mission, Challenger Learning Center has since become a global network that reaches thousands of students and teachers each year. Learning at Challenger Learning Center provides students with an out-of-this-world experience. Through simulated missions, students are able to work as a team to solve problems and explore the universe from the comfort of their own classrooms. STEM FIELD TRIPS
A STEM field trip to Challenger Learning Center in Woodstock, IL includes one simulated space mission based on a real NASA mission plus an interactive STEM learning experience. Over 9,000 students each year enjoy these learning experiences all wrapped into a day of discovery. Hands-on learning results in a one-of-a-kind STEM experience.

INTRODUCTION TO SPACE
Designed with our youngest astronauts in mind, this course will blast-off their interest in space. Using hands-on activities students will explore the basics of our solar system, rockets, and space program while using basic coding, geology digs and more.
