About South Boston Neighborhood House Preschool Program

Our mission is to support family and neighborhood life in South Boston. At The Ollie, we are passionate about providing services and programs for the whole family. From infants to seniors, we have something for everyone! Whether it’s early childhood education, after-school activities, or senior services, we are here to make sure that all of South Boston’s residents can access the support they need. The South Boston Neighborhood House has been a cornerstone of the community for over a century. We are proud to continue our mission of supporting family and neighborhood life in South Boston. From providing programs and services to hosting events and activities, The Ollie is here to help you and your family.

Early Education & Care Preschool Serving

Preschool Children 2.9 – 5 Yrs. Of Age. This full-time, year-round program provides a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities that are reflective of the program’s population.

School Age Programs

Serving Children Ages 5 – 12. Educational enrichment and wellness activities are incorporated into the curriculum on a consistent basis, as well as multicultural activities, especially those reflective of the program population. Computers, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are also important program components.

Family Engagement

Serving Families Throughout The South Boston Community. Family Engagement is designed to help support our most isolated families. The focus of Family Engagement is school readiness and parent support, empowering parents to be their child’s first teacher and strengthening the family unit.
