Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Skating After School
Skating After School is multi-week program that provides City students skating instruction, skate use, transportation between school and The Boston Common Frog Pond, and a healthy snack – all to enjoy a great afternoon of outdoor skating in one of Boston’s finest outdoor spaces. In addition, students get a season pass to the Boston Common Frog Pond and a one-year membership to U.S. Figure Skating. Skating lessons are given by top skating coaches from The Skating Club of Boston.
Adaptive Skating
Adaptive/Therapeutic Skating is a unique program providing children and adults with disabilities access to the sport of figure skating by offering them an opportunity to participate in a specialized skating experience. The program director, instructors, volunteer coordinator, and volunteers, work closely with each skater and family to tailor their individual instructional needs.
Bridge Aspire Program
The Skating Club of Boston® is proud to continue our innovative Bridge Aspire Program, an accelerated and affordable package! This program offers skaters an introduction to all of the elements of figure skating and provides the next steps to those who will continue to skate recreationally or move forward competitively. The Bridge Aspire Program focuses on stroking, edges and power skating, introductory moves in the field, spins, and jumps. The off-ice curriculum includes proper stretching techniques, conditioning exercises and warm-up and cool-down tips.
