About Anissa's Dance Academy

Anissa’s Dance Academy has been offering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for dancers since their opening in Auburn in 2005. Our studio is committed to teaching styles that foster the creative and physical development of our students. We strive to ensure all dancers are not only learning the technical elements of dance, but also developing an appreciation for art and culture. At Anissa’s Dance Academy, we believe that dance should be a fun and educational experience for all. Our instructors are dedicated to helping dancers of all ages and skill levels master proper technique, body placement, and the art of dance. We strive to cultivate a positive learning environment, where our students can grow and develop their personal talents.

Toddler Beats 18 months - 2 yrs
Toddler Beats is a half hour class where your child can move, dance, play and intereact with other toddlers. Through creative movement, and open play your child will be moving and grooving while using fun props and listening to upbeat miusic. A parent or guardian is required to stay inside the studio during the class and participation is welcome!

Petite Stars ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2
Our Petite Stars class will introduce basic ballet steps while incorporating imagery and movement expression. The fundamentals of ballet are taught in a fun yet structured dance environment.

Acro Funk I & II 5 - 8 yrs
Our Acro Funk classes are a combo class of Acro & Hip - Hop. Students learn basic tumbling exercises and get down and funky with the latest Hip - Hop moves. All material is always age appropriate!
