At EHCC, we strive to provide a home away from home. Our lush grounds and landscaping create a beautiful setting and welcome feeling for our visitors. Our philosophy and program design have been developed over the course of 20 years, giving us a wealth of knowledge and experience. We understand that many parents today have limited time due to work and school commitments, and so we are proud to offer convenient hours and affordable prices. We believe that quality child care should foster your child’s growth and development, and our experienced teachers are dedicated to helping your infant, toddler, or preschooler reach their potential. We provide educational experiences such as visits from storytellers, animal trainers, and health care professionals, as well as before and after school care to enrich your child’s learning. Our home-like setting makes the transition from home to school easy and comfortable.

Infants

Our infant program is a gentle step from home for you and your child. Two loving and caring teachers provide individualized learning experiences for your child each day in a spacious and natural environment. The information you provide the teachers each morning will allow your child’s daily schedule and care plan to be modified each day to assure the same quality care they would be getting at home. From 6 weeks to 15 months, your infant will experience play through sensory exploration, physical movement, and meaningful social interactions. They will also have daily exposure to outdoor sounds and smells in a spacious, private play area just for them. Through daily verbal and written communications with the infant teachers, you’ll be able to review the highlights of your child’s play experiences.

Toddlers

The Toddler Program at EHCC includes 2 classrooms specifically designed for the ages and stages of your child. Your 15 to 24 month old child will join our Toddler I group. This “mini” environment hosts a “world of discovery at their fingertips.” Through sensory experiences, and the guidance of loving teachers, your child will investigate and participate in activities that promote motor development, language, and self-help skills. This toddler friendly environment will keep your little one actively learning throughout his/her day.

School Age Program

Grades 2 through 5 enter the before and after school program as individuals willing and able to learn from one another. The questions they pose to their teachers at EHCC are incorporated into the curriculum as learning experiences, thus creating a “child-directed” learning environment. Careful guidance from teaching staff assures that each experience incorporates all possible learning media, math and science, critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills. Music, drama, cooking, and art allow opportunities to appreciate cultural diversity while encouraging children to share their many talents.
