In the wild, wacky, and wonderfully innovative state of Oregon, where raindrops race down windows and mustaches are a legitimate fashion accessory, there exists a tribe of super-smart kids known as the Robotic Rangers. Our story takes place in this enchanting state, known for its dense forests, towering mountains, and more quirkiness than you can shake a beaver tail at! In the heart of Oregon, in the shadow of the majestic Mt. Hood, the Robotic Rangers gather, wielding soldering irons like swords and circuit boards like shields. These kids have brains bigger than the state’s tallest Douglas Fir and ideas brighter than the neon Voodoo Doughnut sign. They're not just building robots; they're shaping the future, one gigabyte at a time. Their leader, a cool, tech-savvy marmot named Max, with thick glasses and an even thicker fur coat, guides them with his extensive knowledge of robotics. Max, much like Oregonians, is unique and not afraid to stand out. He wears neon green sneakers, has a mini-antenna sticking out of his furry head, and communicates in a mix of squeaks, squawks, and high-pitched giggles. Max's laughter is said to be so infectious that even the robots have been programmed to chuckle! The Robotic Rangers are a wondrous bunch, their enthusiasm as contagious as Max’s laughter. Together, they create a world where creativity, coding, mechanics, and fun are the order of the day. In the evergreen state of Oregon, these kids and their extraordinary marmot mentor make the extraordinary ordinary, one robot at a time!

Most youth organizations talk about preparing kids for the future or future leadership positions. This is great, but we believe kids and teens are leaders now. They don't need to wait for the future to shape the world. We help youth be the best 7-year-old they can be or the best 17-year-old. We guide kids and teens of all ages to boost their confidence and unlock their potential so they can thrive—where they are now. Thrive{ology} is our research-based approach to teaching every kid or teen how to be a better friend, student, son, daughter, member of society, sister, brother...today. Every Camp Fire program across the country uses Thrive{ology} to teach youth to identify sparks, develop a growth mindset, learn goal management, and take time to reflect.
