About Ocean State School of Gymnastics Center

At OSSG, we believe that gymnastics should be an enjoyable and stimulating experience for your child. We are Rhode Island's oldest gymnastics facility, with a proud history of success stretching back for more than three decades. Our coaches are all certified by USA Gymnastics, Inc., the national governing body of gymnastics, so you can be sure your child is in safe hands. At OSSG, we strive to make every child’s gymnastics experience as fun, educational, and physically enhancing as possible. We offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities, so your child will find something that’s perfect for them. Our experienced and knowledgeable coaches will provide your child with the best possible support and guidance throughout their gymnastics journey. With our long-standing commitment to excellence, you can be sure your child is receiving the best gymnastics experience available.

Preschool (3-5 Yrs)
Preschool classes are for boys and girls aged 3-5 years. Here, children are working independently of their parents. Children rotate through various boys and girls' equipment such as balance beam, high rings, vaulting, trampoline + more. These classes are one hour in duration and, of course, provide a variety of opportunities for children to learn basic gymnastics skills in a fun, safe environment.

Girls (5+ Yrs)
Girl's classes are for girls aged 5 years and older. These classes are an hour and fifteen minutes in duration. Girls workout on all the women’s competitive events including vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, trampoline, and tumble track.

Boys (6+ Yrs)
Boys classes are for boys aged 6 years and older. These classes are an hour and fifteen minutes in duration. Boys work out on all the men’s competitive events including pommel horse, high bar, parallel bars, vault, floor exercise, still rings, trampoline, and tumble track.
