GACA was formed in 2011 with the goal of aiding and supporting children with autism in improving their social, motor, coordination, and golf skills. Recent estimates indicate that 1 in 68 children are living with autism, and GACA has developed a plan to use golf as a tool for helping with social interaction and skill development. This organization was originally started by Rich Amano, Charlene Marson, and Tammy Marson, and GACA has taken a number of steps to realize its vision.
