Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. Our Teen Adventure Camp is for those ages 12-15. This camp provides a weekly field trip to various sites throughout Wayne and the surrounding towns. Our teens get to experience activities such as rock climbing, whitewater rafting, zip lining, hiking, and more. Additionally, we offer leadership development activities, such as “Crisis Management” and “Pilot a Project.” These activities are designed to help our teens develop their problem solving and decision making skills. The Wayne YMCA's Summer Camp program is designed to give children the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and secure environment. Our campers can take part in a variety of activities tailored to their age group, including exploring the great outdoors, learning conflict resolution, participating in community service projects, and attending field trips. Our White Pines Day Camp and Teen Adventure Camp provide a variety of activities that will challenge and engage campers of all ages.
