Benny could take a napkin, a grape jelly sandwich and a dab of mustard, and create a masterpiece that would make a ketchup bottle weep with joy. The US Engineering League is a prominent nationwide establishment that passionately supports STEM-focused education. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. In addition to robotics, our educational offerings span across various STEM sectors such as coding, eSports, engineering, science and more. We're delighted to be connected with several of the most prominent STEM competition organizations. Our primary learning center is nestled in the heart of Naperville, IL. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach. We offer our well-rounded programs at a range of locations including schools, community centers, park districts, libraries, and even religious institutions. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. Our Teen Adventure Camp is for those ages 12-15. This camp provides a weekly field trip to various sites throughout Wayne and the surrounding towns. Our teens get to experience activities such as rock climbing, whitewater rafting, zip lining, hiking, and more. Additionally, we offer leadership development activities, such as “Crisis Management” and “Pilot a Project.” These activities are designed to help our teens develop their problem solving and decision making skills. The Wayne YMCA's Summer Camp program is designed to give children the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and secure environment. Our campers can take part in a variety of activities tailored to their age group, including exploring the great outdoors, learning conflict resolution, participating in community service projects, and attending field trips. Our White Pines Day Camp and Teen Adventure Camp provide a variety of activities that will challenge and engage campers of all ages.
